Fiction
I write.
I enjoy my characters.
I have fun telling a story.
I do tend to get carried away.
Hopefully, some of that transfers to the reader as that is
what the art strives for.
AS of 12/20/2005 it appears that I have an agent!
I do have some preliminary queries floating around out there. If you are here
as a result of one of them - I guess you need to go back to the slush pile.
After years of writing for my own pleasure, I am in the process
of trying to publish some of my work. I have written a fair amount, and some
of it is worthy. These pages are intended to present my work to those I have
queried and to eliminate some of the SASE do se do.. There is a link at the
bottom of the page that enables you to give me some feedback.(and to ask for
more should something strike your fancy.)
Official Bio: (aka my side of the story)
I have been making up stories all of my life. Forced by a cruel world to earn
a living, I worked for ten years as a social worker in challanging situations.
Then, after machete wielding psychopaths became a little old, I switched to
computers - eventually becoming director of systems for one of the tentacles
of NYC Human Resources Agency. Talk about alternate universes! My ability to
deal with seriously disturbed people served me well in the years I spent as
a prisoner in the tower of babble. (Actually, I had a fair amount of fun. Being
a geek gives a certain license.) I collected much material for later use. I
availed myself of an early retirement two years ago.
At last I have the time serious writing demands. Hosanna Sings is the first
of this generation of novels
