Shelley has been painting most of her life.She attended the Art Students League of New York and the School of Visual Arts where she studied both fine art and children's book illustration. She has also been creating and selling her own line of jewelry for over 35 years. In 2003 she retired from jewelry making and is devoting all of her time to painting
